I’m looking at you, granola bar remnants
Reflecting on the biblical practice of removing leaven during Passover as a metaphor for confronting hidden sins in our lives.

FEAR
The scent of hope will drown out any lingering odor of fear and words of worship will replace fears vocabulary in my mouth. Fear will be a foreign language which I can no longer speak or understand. I will remember Psalm 121. “I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”






Fearlessly Unbecoming
My story is the same as so many of us who grew up in the church. To this day, I still talk about the foundational parts of my faith that created who I am, but it was not until the situation above that I understood a deeper connection I had with God and His intended life for all of us.


Packing for Eternity
Being in His will, God directs us what to “pack” or prepare for so that when we get there, we have everything we need and have experienced everything we should have. And it will be perfect.
